The third Thanatos album, 'Angelic Encounters', was released in 2000 via Hammerheart Records. Two more personnel changes followed. The recording sessions for the album were put on hold and once again the future for Thanatos looked very bleak. At the end of 2006 Stephan formed Hail of Bullets which grew into the monster we all know now. Guitarist Paul also joined the reformed Asphyx and drummer Yuri and bass player Marco joined Melechesh. Their second album, Realm of Ecstasy (some album covers show Realm of Ecstacy), had received positive marks from Dutch music magazine Oor for its solid compositions and challenging arrangements. After enduring constantly changing line-ups and problems with distribution, promotion, and even ownership of the rights to the second album, Thanatos folded in 1992, the final straw being the cancellation In 1999, founding member Stephan Gebédi revived the band, which signs with Hammerheart Records. Thanatos is a Dutch Death metal/Thrash metal band. With a history dating back to 1984, they are the oldest death metal band from the Netherlands. Their second album, Realm of Ecstasy (some album covers show Realm of Ecstacy), had received positive marks from Dutch music magazine Oor for its solid compositions and challenging arrangements  . First came two albums with demo and live tracks, then the band's first full album, Angelic Encounters, in 2000. An EP with original songs as well as covers from Celtic Frost and Possessed is released by Baphomet.

The Rich Man's Eight Track Tape is an album by post-hardcore noise rock band Big Black. It was released in 1987 by Touch and Go Records. The album is a CD compilation of Big Black's Atomizer album, "Heartbeat" single and Headache EP. The track "Strange Things" from the original Atomizer LP was not included on this release. The album cover for the real Atomizer can be seen in the background of The Rich Man's Eight Track Tape's artwork.
