Last year, Ponytail founder Dustin Wang announced that the band was disbanding, noting if by chance the scattered happens to gather again, it would be another interesting experiment. However, it appears that the Baltimore art rockers have had a change of heart as they’ve just announced the April 12th release of their third full length, Do Whatever You Want All the Time. Produced by J. Robbins, the seven-track effort is billed as most sophisticated recording to dat. nd yes, it’ll still make you smile

Ponytail’s previous record, 2008’s Ice Cream Spiritual, was so busting with explosive urgency that it felt like an arrival. The ideas weren’t new - and it wasn’t the group’s first record - but it was executed with such breathless inspiration that it demanded a wide-eyed attention that it rightly received. It isn’t until Beyondersville/ Flight of Fancy that it becomes obvious how much Whatever You Want deviates from its predecessors. Almost like a Four Tet or Books track, it plugs away for over six minutes with chopped vocals, loops, faux-synth guitar squiggles, and hardly any drums (for a Ponytail song, anyway). It feels twice its length.

Whatever You Want is the twelfth studio album by the British rock band Status Quo. This was the band's third album to be produced by Pip Williams. Recording began in December 1978 at Wisseloord Studios in Hilversum, the Netherlands, with the final mixes being completed in London in March 1979.

Whatever You Want Lyrics. Running like a dog Fighting like I bitch too much And you just can't stand it, baby Even when I fall, you don't seem to give two shits 'Cause you're just too cool, baby We could have it all But neither one of us would budge 'Cause we can't be wrong, baby Folding up your arms, closing. Trying to get a breath Thinkin' 'bout the time you said that I was your heart, baby Trying to understand how a grown man goes on without a body part, baby I could walk away I could always cash my chips and I'd be ok, baby I would be ok, and you might be ok. Oh, I know, I know, I know you think it's me But ya want it all I know, I know, I know, I know you see That we gotta talk No, you know, you know, you must believe You're enough for me.

Ponytail, the four-piece from Baltimore, had a quite remarkable genesis. While at Maryland Institute of Art in 2005, the band came together thanks to a course assignment which, quite simply, asked the students to form a band. So form a band they did, with a spontaneity that doesn’t seem to have prevented them becoming the same kind of cohesive, tight unit as any other, proper, more conventionally forged outfit. And that’s before we even get to their quite extraordinary music. As with their previous album Ice Cream Spiritual, which won plaudits on its release in 2008, Do Whatever You Want All The Time undoubtedly also deserves praise.

If you want to get married immediately after high school and have 14 kids, that’s fine, too. The moral of the story is you can do whatever you want. Nothing is stopping you from complete and utter happiness but yourself, so don’t let other people’s opinions on how you should live your life affect what you’re doing. As long as you’re happy that’s all that matters. Even more, though, . s point can be applied to everyday things. You can quit going to a class you hate, kiss the person you have a crush on or quit your job right now. You have that power  . Little things remind me all the time. For example, I'll be sitting in the lounge with the people on my floor, just talking about how everyone's days went. Someone will turn to someone else and ask something along the lines of, "When are we going to so-and-so's place tonight?"
