The critical community continually cites Joe Locke for his artistic work. There seems little doubt that Locke, with his ability to play cool and funky, heady and relaxed, is set to become the pre-eminent vibraphonist in jazz. He has been voted the vibist in DownBeat Magazine's Critic's Poll (TDWR) and Brazil's International Jazz Poll, has recorded over 40 CDs as a band leader, and as producer and a sideman he appears on almost 100 recordings. Joe Locke was born in Palo Alto, California, but raised in Rochester, New York.

All the great songs and lyrics from the "Standards: Green and Blue" album ont he Web's largest and most authoritative lyrics resource.

John Moriarty (piano) and Jim Kerwin (bass) fill out the trio with their fine performances. This album was recorded almost 20 years ago and it is just as fresh today. Bonet's dynamics and vocal control show an artist at the top of her game. The album was originally recorded to 2" tape and recently remixed to DSD128 for release in DSD, Double DSD, 9624 and 4.

Life, loss, love, spirit. As I evolve so too does ‘Ocean’. The song has been watched online incredibly over 25 million times in various formats, nearly always live, be it from MusicMax Sessions or from one of the many festivals I have had the pleasure to play.
