Throughout history, plants and animals have contributed to the well-being of humans, serving as food, companions and tools. Without the help of plants and animals, humans would not have survived, much less advanced as a species. Human beings hunted animals and gathered plants for food long before the formation of permanent settlements. Some of the earliest animals used for food by humans were insects, fish, wild pigs, and deer or antelope. Plants used for food included berries, mushrooms, and various seeds and nuts. Before the invention of agriculture or farming, gathering and eating plants was just as dangerous, in a sense, as hunting animals for meat. Many plants are toxic to humans, and simply picking the wrong berries or mushrooms for a meal could seriously injure or kill that person.

The Animals were an English music group of the 1960s formed in Newcastle upon Tyne during the early part of the decade, and later relocated to London.

The Animals is the self-titled debut studio album by British R&B/blues rock band the Animals. It was released in the United Kingdom in November 1964 on EMI's Columbia Records. The album reached No. 6 on the UK Albums Chart and held that position for a total of 20 weeks. Eric Burdon – lead vocals. Hilton Valentine – guitar, vocals. Alan Price – keyboards, vocals. Chas Chandler – bass, vocals. John Steel – drums and percussion. Mickie Most – producer. Val Valentin – engineer.

Humans have always been fascinated with life in all its forms, but thousands of years ago, we only classified life on Earth into two categories – plants and animals. We can thank Aristotle for that, and he further divided animals into those with and without blood, as well as those in the land, sea, and air. That rudimentary system remained in place until the 1600s. Given that fact, it comes as no surprise that most people classified fungi as plants for so long. The similarity in appearance is pretty clear, like little red and white tree. owever, thanks to modern technology, the analysis of genetic relationships between species and organisms is now possible, and it shows something very interesting. By examining the genes of different species, both animal and fungi, the mutational changes can be observed, and genealogical relationships can be determined that go back millions of years.

i’d already recorded my last album with Warren, Adèle and Mishka, but we hadn’t met Simone yet. so I was sending him demos little by little before the sessions, by e-mail. the first day in the studio was the first time we met and that we all played together. it gave us the song et tu reviendras where you hear.

Plants and Animals are a Canadian indie-rock band from Montreal, composed of guitarist-vocalists Warren Spicer and Nic Basque, and drummer-vocalist Matthew 'the Woodman' Woodley. They are signed to Secret City Records. The first seeds of the band were originally planted on Canada’s salty-aired East Coast in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Young Warren C. Spicer and Matthew ‘the Woodman’ Woodley had begun playing together in high-school bands.
