I can't see you mama But I can hardly wait Oh to touch and to feel you mama Oh I just can’t keep away In the heat and the steam of the city Oh its got me running and I just can't brake So say you'll help me mama Cause its getting so hard - oh. Now I can’t keep you mama But I know you're always there You listen, you teach me mama And I know inside you care So get down, down here beside me Oh you ain't going nowhere No I won't hurt you mama But its getting so hard - oh. Ha ha, ha ha ha ha, ha ha, argh Ha ha, ha ha ha ha, ha ha, argh. One of two songs on the album recorded during the last leg of the Invisible Touch Tour.

Genesis - Mama, In Too Deep - Atlantic - 7-84956 ATLANTIC. Mama/It's Gonna Get Better (. While their self-titled album was an uninspired disaster in my books, 'Mama' was one of the few songs on that album that seemed to stand out from it's peers in terms of quality and attractiveness. While certainly not matching up to a truly 'great' Genesis track by any stretch, 'Mama' is one of the better tracks from this era in the band's career. Here, Phil Collins' trademark drum technique can be heard; not necessarily in the way he plays, but in the way it is translated in the studio
