Группы U2. 1980 - Boy. 1981 - October. 1983 - War. 1984 - The Unforgettable Fire. 1987 - The Joshua Tree. 1988 - Rattle and Hum.

Three, also known as U2 3, is the debut release by Irish rock band U2. It was released in Ireland on 26 September 1979 through the CBS record label. Three compromises three songs recorded with producer Chas de Whalley at Windmill Lane Studios in August 1979.

Facing creative stagnation and a backlash following their documentary/double album, Rattle and Hum (1988), U2 reinvented themselves in the 1990s through a new musical direction and public image. Formation and early years (1976–1980). Boy and October (1980–1982). The Unforgettable Fire and Live Aid (1984–1985). The Joshua Tree and Rattle and Hum (1986–1990).

Three things on this dying planet are certain: death, taxes and the reliable appearance of a new U2 album every three to five years until the end of time. The band's recent Joshua Tree 30th anniversary tour reminded us how enduring the band's best work remains in uncertain times. U2 is too big to fail, even when it does

This is the only place you can get some of the versions of these songs, though included on the bonus disc of Boy, the versions Of Out Of Control and Stories for Boys are different on the Boy Remaster than they are found here. On The remaster Out Of Control is a alternate version/unedited, vocals sound slightly different, an extra bar in the middle, the song runs slightly longer and Stories for Boys has the extra drum roll on the remaster, sounds slightly different as well, perhaps due to EQ and remastering, however the original 12" version is abrupt and cold at the end. Boy/Girl sounds the same.
