G Sides is a B-sides collection by Gorillaz from their first studio album session, Gorillaz and the Tomorrow Comes Today EP. The compilation was originally released only in Japan in December 2001. The European version, released in March 2002, features the original Japanese track listing

Gorillaz is the eponymous debut studio album by virtual band Gorillaz. It was released on 26 March 2001 in the United Kingdom by Parlophone and in the United States by Virgin Records. The album reached number three in the UK and number fourteen in the US, and has sold over seven million copies worldwide

G-Sides is a collection of tracks that previously appeared on the first four Gorillaz UK single releases (the Tomorrow Comes Today EP, "Clint Eastwood", "19-2000" and "Rock the House"). The album was originally scheduled only for the Japanese market. In Japan short commercially released singles of 3-4 tracks are not as popular as they are in the UK, Australia, and bands frequently released what are in effect extended EPs of tracks collected from several releases.

For the most part, the songs and remixes on this album make a perfect complement to Gorillaz' self-titled debut. Unfortunately, when "G-Sides" isn't perfect, it positively stinks. I am referring specifically to the Wiseguys House of Wisdom remix of 19-2000.

Gorillaz is the debut album by the band under the same name, Gorillaz. The album released on March 26th, 2001, with a total of 15 tracks. The album had very few collaborators unlike later albums by the band. The album’s success was later followed up with G-Sides, which showed various different songs by the band and even different versions. The album also had other follow-ups to it including the Celebrity Take Down DVD, which included various animatics and storyboards of the band’s music videos, as well as other exclusive content.
