Live is the second live album by the band Blondie released in 1999 in the US and in 2000 in the UK. As of August 9 2005 it has sold 129,000 copies in United States. The album was recorded during Blondie's successful 1998-99 comeback tour in support of their latest album, No Exit, and features all their best-known songs, including "Atomic", "The Tide Is High", "Call Me", and "Heart of Glass", as well as the 1999 UK "Maria".

Considering what a turkey 1999's No Exit was, a live LP from its tour is a bright idea. Why not reestablish that Blondie was once an awfully good group: a '77 new wave/power pop delight that evolved into one of the few AM Top 40 radio pleasures from 1979-1980, and a most entertaining stage band. Besides, they never released a live record. As it happens, Live surpasses all expectations.

Live, recorded during Blondie's 1999 world tour, puts any such doubts to rest. The band injects a rediscovered vitality into their songs throughout the 17 tracks here, which covers their classics ("Dreaming," "Call Me," "Heart of Glass," "Atomic," "One Way or Another") and newer numbers from their comeback album No Exit. As ever, the players are fantastic, especially drummer Clem Burke, who hammers away at his kit with a ferocity and skill that puts many younger drummers to shame. This is the Blondie album for those who prefer their greatest hits performed live.
