A good day for Botch consisted of utterly laying to waste everything in their path and having a grand ol’ time while doing so. The same is true of their recordings, huge monstrous concoctions of metal, noise, indie rock guitar trickery, full of depth and minute secrets which slowly secreted themselves with successive listens.

Botch were creative wizards. As a result they are the proud fathers of "Math-Metal" where bands like Dillinger Escape Plan have now taken over. Where alot of bands kept topping their works each time, At the drive-in, Refused, Botch, although following the same path, had TWO records that changed everything. Their second and final album "We are the Romans" is what showed everybody why they were such an important band and how they switched from, mis-understood noise merchants to creative geniouses.

Only for completionists (0%). Botch's 'An Anthology of Dead Ends' is the last studio recording we would get from this Tech Metal/Metalcore band because they disbanded shortly after  . The album starts out with an unapologetic bombastic explosion of guitar that lasts all of 14 seconds. But now you know what to expect, because it gets louder than this and more complex. Next you have 'Spaim', 'Japam', and 'Vietmam'.

Each song has so much energy and the . will leave you dumbfounded in amazement. Dave Knudson's guitar work is superlative to all of Botch's previous work. Although I'm not sure what is up with.

The coolest part is that it's only 20 minutes, so there's no filler, no padded song length, just 20 minutes that will pound your skull. Album was ripped as a wav from the physical CD, and rendered in a video file with lcpm encoding @ 48k Hz. (my program wouldn't allow 4. k) No equalization. I've gotten over that phase. 00:00 - 00:14 Spaim00:14 - 03:11 Japam03:11 - 06:49 Framce06:49 - 10:49 Vietmam10:49 - 17:40 Afghamistam17:40 - 21:43 Micaragua.
