"How Far Can We Go" is a great overlooked "sample house" record from 1988 similar to "Pump Up The Volume" and "Beat Dis", put out by none-other than the quirky US TVT label! It uses a ragga-infused house beat and incorporates samples from Sparks, Janet Jackson, Jimi Hendrix, Star Trek, The Whipsers, Arthur Brown, Madness, Talking Heads, and others weaved around 2 jamaican-style raps and a female singing the chorus. I always enjoy spinning it every few months!
