Produced by him, it was released on Island Records in 1974. The musical style of Here Come the Warm Jets is a hybrid of glam rock and art rock, similar to Eno's previous album work with Roxy Music, although in a stronger experimental fashion. In developing the album's words and music, Eno used unusual methods such as dancing for his band members and having them play accordingly, and singing nonsense words to himself that would form the basis of subsequent lyrics.

Before And After Science is a music studio album recording by BRIAN ENO (Progressive ve Rock) released in 1977 on cd, lp, vinyl and/or cassette. Like that album, this work boasts strong performances, composition, and arrangements. Does this mean that I think less of "Here Come The Warm Jets", "Taking Tiger Mountain (By Strategy)", or "Another Green World"? No, I consider them all essential masterpieces o. OME kind of music (not Progressive Rock). I just picked this one because, since it came last among the four albums, it has the best sound quality!

Before And After Science by Brian Eno Audio CD £. 2.

Eno’s debut solo album proper Here Come The Warm Jets (8) was released in 1974. One of the first things that the listener picks up is that Eno actually a good singer – and opener ‘Needles In The Camel’s Eye’ and ‘Baby’s On Fire’ could have fitted quite happily on either of the two Roxy Music albums. His delivery as a singer is that of a more sneering Bryan Ferry – and you sense that there were a number of members of future British punk bands taking notes  . The album title was taken from a series of postcards about a Chinese Revolutionary Opera, and it was on this album that Eno started to develop and utilise his Oblique Strategies postcards. These were phrases or instructions designed to break deadlock or in a dilemma situation.

Before and After Science is really a study of "studio composition" whereby recordings are created by deconstruction and elimination: tracks are recorded and assembled in layers, then selectively subtracted one after another, resulting in a composition and sound quite unlike that at the beginning of the process. Despite the album's pop format, the sound is unique and strays far from the mainstream. Eno also experiments with his lyrics, choosing a sound-over-sense approach. The music on Before and After Science at times resembles Another Green World ("No One Receiving") and Here Come the Warm Jets ("King's Lead Hat") and ranks alongside both as the most essential Eno material. Eno’s first four albums – Here Come the Warm Jets, Taking Tiger Mountain (By Strategy), Another Green World and Before and After Science – are master classes in emerging electronic pop, albeit in a style imbued with a rather British sense of humour. For all his intelligence and acumen Eno’s work is never without a smile to dismantle accusations that the music he makes is po-faced. Here Come the Warm Jets, a big selling chart album thanks to Roxy’s increasing fan base, features most of his former band members as well as kindred spirit Robert Fripp and members of Matching Mole and Pink Fairies.
