However, a major flaw of this huge set, besides lack of decent packaging, is the sheer number of CDs, which could have been cut in half if the full 80-minute capacity of each disc were utilized. More than likely casual music lovers will only want the "big hits" from a certain era anyway, and will find the individual sets more to their liking and in line with their budgets. The 50s material is very weak if you are thinking the great 50s hits and familiar lounge-type instrumentals. They trot out some very shopworn titles that are in ALL these types of collections such as Sleepwalk, Rebel Rouser, Raunchy, etc. To me this was a big waste of money and time. The titles were big hits but the recordings by some of these people are just not very good.

The Who Hits 50! is a compilation of singles by the English rock band The Who, released in 2014 by Polydor Records. The two-disc set contains every single released by the band in the United Kingdom, with the exceptions of: "A Legal Matter" and "La-La-La-Lies" from 1966; and "Long Live Rock" and the remake of "I'm One" from 1979.
