Volume one of The Best of Kukla, Fran & Ollie spotlights the charming musical numbers from one of TV's first and most memorable children's shows. The album's track listing is culled from the classic RCA/Victor and Decca albums inspired by the show and recorded by former big-band singer Fran Allison and Kuklapolitans like the little clown Kukla and Ollie the Dragon

He also backed Kukla star Fran Allison on The Fran Allison Show (1949). When Tillstrom moved networks in 1954, NBC employee Fascinato remained behind, but soon began another notable collaboration, with singer Tennessee Ernie Ford.
