Glossary's new album, Feral Fire, is its first for Lucero's Liberty and Lament label (Glossary's Todd Beene also plays in Lucero), and is marked by a testifying batch of R&B and country tinged rock songs that explores the band's dysfunctional relationship with time, religion, materialism, the universe and southern ideals. I live near Memphis and had never heard any music by this band until I bought "Feral Fire". If nothing else, that shows how bankrupt todays radio station playlists are when it comes to playing music from good, upcoming bands. The band Glossary has a unique sound that is sort of hard to pin down or categorize. When I first listened to this album I heard echoes of Tom Petty, Thin Lizzy, The Counting Crows, Whiskeytown, Elvis Costello, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Uncle Tupelo, and the Allman Brothers.

Glossary will be touring with label-mates, Lucero, all across the South in support of their sixth full-length album, Feral Fire. American Songwriter had a chance to sit down with Joey Kneiser, the main songwriter for the group, who explained to us why you shouldn’t write your lyrics down and how it’s possible to seduce a good Southern girl even if you’re a dirty rapscallion. Your new album, Feral Fire, comes out February 2nd. How is it different from your other five albums? It’s just a bigger rock sounding record. We were trying to swing more and to have more of a groove.

Faerie Fire (Feral) is a Druid debuff that reduces the target's armor and prevents it from stealthing and turning invisible. It is the feral version of the normal. It is learned at level 24 for 25 50. Unlike its basic version, this spell is immune to all magic reflection abilities as well as the effects of Shaman grounding totems. This ability uses spell hit.
