Streetlight Manifesto. Produced by Tomas Kalnoky. Album Somewhere In The Between. Somewhere in the Between Lyrics. You were gone when we found you You were practically surrounded, you were trapped But the opposition stalled, their blood ran cold When they saw the look of love in your eyes. Maybe the times we had, they weren’t that bad And everything else was part of the plan We sang: "I don’t know where we go from here" This is the alpha, omega, beginning and the end And we all just idolize the dead. So you were born, and that was a good day Someday you’ll die, and that is a shame But somewhere in the between was a life of which we all dream And nothing and no one will ever take that away. And some day soon my friends, this ride will come to an end But we can’t just get in line again. Somewhere in the Between" Track Info. Written By Tomas Kalnoky.

Somewhere in the Between is the third studio album by American ska punk band Streetlight Manifesto. On August 23, 2007, the group revealed the name of their next album: Somewhere in the Between. We Will Fall Together" and "Down, Down, Down to Mephisto's Cafe" were released as a double A-side single in October, 2007, prior to the album's release.

For good reason, Streetlight Manifesto oftentimes serves as an introductory band into the third-wave ska genre, and it's obvious as to why this is so. A first-time listener or a lifelong Streetlight fan could pick this up and get more than just something out of this record

Sound - 9 After the release of their highly rated debut album Everything Goes Numb, Streetlight Manifesto were welcomed into the ska scene with arms wide open. It wasn't long before fans were in demand of a sophomore release. This demand wasn't met for years, until now, with the release of the highly anticipated Somewhere In The Between. Upon the first listen, it is hard to pick out the 'best' track as every track on the album is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. Down, Down, Down to Mephisto's Caf is a perfect example of classic Streetlight Manifesto.

Although Somewhere in the Between is the third full-length release by Streetlight Manifesto, longtime fans are more likely to view it as the band's sophomore effort. 2006's Keasbey Nights was, for all intents and purposes, a refurbished replica of the Catch-22 album by the same name, complete with the same vocalist and few (if any) musical changes. This makes Somewhere in the Between the band's first effort of all-original material in nearly five years, and Streetlight Manifesto is no longer the fresh-faced group that once rose from Catch-22's ska/punk ashes.
