Loveless is the second studio album by alternative rock band My Bloody Valentine. Released on 4 November 1991, Loveless was recorded over a two-year period between 1989 and 1991 in nineteen recording studios. Lead vocalist and guitarist Kevin Shields dominated the recording process; he sought to achieve a particular sound for the record, making use of various techniques such as guitars strummed with a tremolo bar, sampled drum loops, and obscured vocals.
Loveless (LP, Album). Creation Records, Creation Records, Creation Records, Creation Records, Creation Records. When they released "Loveless" in 1991, it made the albums by all the other bands unnecesserary, cos it compromised everything Shoegazing was meant to be and took it a lot further. Music like this hadn't been heard before and has never been produced again. The thing that strikes you first is the sound, layer upon layer, vocals and rythms drowned in a huge wave of feedback and sounds you've never heard before.
The official song centers for each song are published within the booklets for μ's Best Album Best Live! Collection and μ's Best Album Best Live! Collection II. For Aqours, no centers will be assigned until there will be an official documented reference regarding it (. album collection, popularity polls for singles, or stated by an official staff). Note that the anime is not considered a documented reference unless it explicitly states that there or there isn't a center for the song (.
Loveless is often described as their magnum opus and one of the best albums of the 1990s. However, they were dropped by Creation after its release due to the album's extensive production costs. In 1992, the band signed to Island Records and recorded several albums worth of unreleased material, remaining largely inactive. Googe and Ó Cíosóig left the band in 1995, and were followed by Butcher in 1997. Unable to complete a follow-up to Loveless, Shields isolated himself and, in his own words, "went crazy".
on "Let's Go to Bed" and chilly electro on "The Walk". Rock bands sound good within the context of being rock bands; pop songs like these carried their own context with them, each one a dream to step into. The Top (1984), however, is not that Cure. Saying that this is the Cure's most focused pop album- with a crucial new band lineup solidified, Porl Thompson's guitar on board, and everyone sounding keen and intent- might seem like a massive compliment, but that designation turns out to be a bit tricky. The singles here were the band's most straightforward to date: An ingratiating rush of guitar on "In Between Days", a jolly twinkling love song on "Close to Me", sappy 80s drama on "A Night Like This"
So just for the moment, let's be still. You can get lost in the music for hours, honey, You can get lost in a room. We can play music for hours and hours But the sun'll still be coming up soon. The world's not forgiving Of everyone's fears. The days turn into months, the months turn into years. So just for the moment, let's be still. They're tearing down So we can rebuild And all this time Is just circles in my mind So just for a moment, Just for one moment, Just for a moment let's be still Just for a moment let's be still Just for a moment let's be still Just for a moment.
