Electric Wizard is the debut studio album by English doom metal band Electric Wizard released in 1994 through Rise Above Records and re-released bundled with their second album, Come My Fanatics. A remastered version was then released on CD and LP in 2006, with two bonus tracks, taken from a demo entitled Doom Chapter. The origins of Electric Wizard go back to 1988 when Jus Oborn formed the band Lord of Putrefaction.

Let Us Prey is the fourth studio album by English doom metal band Electric Wizard. It was released through Rise Above Records in 2002, and was the last album to feature Electric Wizard's original line-up. After its release Tim Bagshaw and Mark Greening went on to form Ramesses.

Electric Wizard's response, "Let Us Prey", proved to a bit of a damp squid. It was the last release from the seminal line-up of Jus Oborn, Mark Greening and Tim Bagshaw, the trio that created the bands best albums, "Come My Fanatics" and "Dopethrone". Divisions were reported during the making of this album, and unfortunately this came through on record. Let Us Prey" is extremely hit and miss throughout, mostly due to some unexpected and out of place experimentation

Let Us Prey signifies the disbanding of Electric Wizard's classic first incarnation. Two years later they would release We Live, a similarly experimental, though, to my opinion, a massively superior release, featuring Wizard's modern incarnation - Oborn and his girlfriend, Liz Buckingham, and friends. A unique release by a band still, to this day, experimenting with it's sound and capabilities in versatility. For hardcore fans, recommended. For streamlined fans, I would point to the succeeding album, We Live, as a more favorable listen.
